- Muirfield Homes was founded December 1997 by Alan Cheshier in Norman, Oklahoma. Alan had been in the building business in Norman since 1986 with another leading builder in the Metro area. Alan is a native of Dallas, Texas and earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Computer Information Systems from Baylor University in Waco. He worked for 2 years in the National Accounts Division of IBM Corporation, in Dallas. Married to Suzanne since August 1985, Alan has three children, Darian, Camryn and Troy.
