Description
The Mount Vernon Dog Training Club, Inc., is a Northern Virginia hobby organization whose members are dedicated to the sport of dog obedience training. Its objectives are: (1) to promote the utility of the purebred dog as a companion to man; (2) to provide group dog training classes for individuals who in turn teach their dogs to become canine good citizens; (3) to encourage trainers to prepare their dogs for competition at dog obedience trials sponsored by the American Kennel Club, and; (4) to hold such an obedience trial once per year in the Northern Virginia area. Our club is a member of the American Kennel Club and we abide by their rules and regulations in all of our activities.
