Meadville Tool Grinding was started in October 1984 as a partnership in the tool grinding business. We concentrated our efforts in the Crawford County, PA area. Eventually we expanded our customer base to include several states and foreign countries.
We were one of the first sharpening shops to grind a smooth finish on the cutting edge and de-magnetize all high speed steel tooling. This has since become a standard in the market.
Also in the same year we purchased our first C.N.C. tool and cutter grinder, and in less than three years we found it necessary to purchase a second C.N.C. machine, and we are currently planning the purchase of yet another. We have the ability and skilled personnel to sharpen all High Speed Steel and Carbide industrial tooling.
