After the disheartening and frustrating news about the cancellation of the Courier and all the analysts shouting about impending death of the HP Slate running Windows 7, I have resigned myself to buy a simple eBook reader and forget about a Slate PC form factor. For the past few days, only the lack of an official announcement from HP or Microsoft held me back from moving on to a simpler and less productive commute. But without any announcement, my hopes just went from 1 to 2 in scale of 10.
