I'm a Professional Certified Coach, speaker, and former therapist. I'm also a published author. Much of my work focuses on how to recognize and use knowledge from the heart to make decisions that enhance both life and livelihood. I've coached over 250 individuals since becoming a coach in 1996. This whole notion of discerning what the heart "knows" occurred because of a personal clash I experienced between my head and heart in the mid-90’s. I did something that seemed illogical and irrational but felt right - I walked away from a successful 20- year career as a clinical social worker and therapist. I left the world of non-profits and entered the business world when I established my coaching practice, now run under Moving Spirit, LLC. Steep learning curve, but awesome move!
My first-hand experience navigating the unpredictable waters of career transition and a new business start-up allow me to shepherd others through this process. So it comes as no surprise that I tend to attract many of you who are restless in your careers.
