The Mount Pleasant Public Library is a joint municipal library supported by the Town of Mount Pleasant and Village of Pleasantville. The Library received its charter from NY State in 1965 and serves residents, students and workers in the Town of Mount Pleasant, outside the incorporated villages, and the Village of Pleasantville. The Main Library is located in the Village of Pleasantville, at the intersection of Bedford Road and Romer Avenue.
