Description
Houston Thomas Moore, attended Northern Arizona University from 1972-1975, and majored in BS Civil Engineering with emphasis on Structural Engineering. He continued his education from 1977 to 1978 at Arizona State University, in Tempe, with Construction Estimating and Business Administration.
He was employed by Brandow & Associates Structural Engineers in Los Angeles, California in 1976-1977 as a structural designer and draftsman. His duties included designing concrete, steel & wood structures, plan checking and Field Inspector. He also did computer programming related to structural design. He worked as a Construction Coordinator and Project Engineer for Mardian Construction Company in Phoenix, Arizona from 1977-1978. His duties included expediting, estimating & field engineering related to commercial construction.
Tom started “Moore Builders” in 1978 and is licensed in both residential and commercial construction. He is a member of the National Federation of Independent Business and has served as both President and member of the Sedona Licensed Contractors Association. He has been constructing both residential and commercial buildings in Sedona for 25 years and holds both a Residential and Commercial License. Additionally, we also have an in house Licensed Masonry Contractor.
