In 1912, Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Carpenter founded the Montverde Industrial School as a means of providing deserving students the opportunity for a superior education with an emphasis on experiences that would allow each young man and woman the opportunity to develop their character within a positive and healthy school community. As a result of their efforts the school has forged through 90 years of successful education.
