- The preparations for the 2008 Summer School/Symposium on Monoliths for Biochromatography, Bioconversion, and Solid Phase Synthesis are underway and we are pleased to invite you to the only international event dedicated to Monolith Technology to be used for Chromatography. When the first event was held in 2004, the work on Monolithic Columns for Biochromatography was in its infancy. Today, researchers from around the world are continuing to work on this truly evolutionary technology for proteomics, laboratory research on viruses and pDNA, and the industrial production of biomolecules for therapeutic use such as vaccines and gene therapy. This technology will continue to develop and improve the efficiency of biomolecule research and production ensuring that these promising treatments are more quickly accessible to patients worldwide.
