One of the most unsavoury sights associated with a World Cup with England involved is the sight of Keith Allens gurning gormess puss on the music channels. Patritiotism isn't the worst crime in the world but my main gripe with this chap of almost no talent whatsoever is the fact that he isn't even English. He is Welsh, born in Swansea. Utter Fud.
Interrim Report
7th of June and its out first period of over 7 days at home this year. these fuckers work us hard i tell ye. Its a good job we have some time off because the consternation in the Mogwai camp about Wayne Rooney's foot was starting to take its toll on band moral. HIghlights of the year for me so far include having dinner with Roky Erickson, watching Dinosaur Jr at Primavera, being the coldest i've ever been in Moscow (maybe not a highlight but memorable) and visiting the Azteca (not the Maracana, stupid me!) stadium in Mexico City which of course was the place where the greatest ever world cup goal was scored by Diego Armando Maradona against England in 1986. Anyway hopefully this snippet of tripe is the start of the rejuvenation of this site which has been neglected by us of late. We'll pull our socks up. Stuart
