Mole Hill Bikes was started in 1986 by Gerald Knicely. Gerald, who rode his bike to a local welding shop to work each day, saw the need of a good bike shop to serve the local Old Order Mennonites, who drive their horse and buggies or ride their bikes to work and town. He started the shop in a small storage shed on his dad’s dairy farm at the foot of Mole Hill, which is a small mountain in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley.
Today Mole Hill Bikes has grown to a full service cycling center, providing all types of bicycles, including electric bikes. We still strive to provide personal service and value to each customer, as in the past.
