There is a universal feeling common to every individual when they ride their bicycles or awaken to wonders of the natural world and self-dependence of everything one needs being on their back; a sense of freedom that separates us as children from our parents and opens our awareness to the larger, wider world, discovering our part in it. That freedom is never fully forgotten, and for those lucky few, not only remembered, but embraced every time we put on a pack, or throw a leg over our bike.
Our goal is to instill in all of our customers, employees, and suppliers a deeper understanding of themselves by reminding them of how important this sense of freedom is, and how simply it can make a difference, in not only their lives but the lives of everyone they come in contact with. We pursue this goal through optimism, enthusiasm, and action in all facets of what we sell and what we do, be it a weekly group ride, trail advocacy and maintenance, or providing the most knowledgeable fitness technicians available.
At Walt's, we truly enjoy what we do. When it comes to cycling, we will strive to make all of our customers as comfortable as possible on a bicycle that fits all of their needs. When it comes to outdoor activities, we will provide experience-based answers and quality products designed to make all outdoor activities as safe and satisfying as possible. When it comes to fitness, we will provide the best equipment and advice for all aspects of safe physical fitness. And when it comes to service, we will perform above expectations to achieve respect and trust from all of our clients, friends, and employees.
