The MMOGeek Network was created by gamers in an effort to provide professional news, information, content, and media jobs to lurking MMO fans. The network originally began with the Warhammer Geek fan site which launched in Q1 of 2008 by Trevor “Orlock” Edgar and Kurt “Svoald” Scheuringer. Both Trevor and Kurt grew with the ambition of making a successful resource for players and to create a portal that could facilitate and produce new journalists into the gaming press industry.
