MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida

Description

The MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide educational programs and services that promote and strengthen innovation at the intersection of business and technology. The MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida is dedicated to promote and strengthen innovation and growth of technology industry and businesses throughout the tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

Our ongoing mission is to serve as a "living laboratory for entrepreneurs," through panel events and case studies, and also through our peer-to-peer network known as the Fire Circle. We are actively creating a community of emerging business owners, product and market innovators from local companies, business managers, investors and corporate leaders by bringing them together in a stimulating, interactive setting. The organization also serves as a resource to assist entrepreneurs during the critical early phases of their business development and to serve as catalyst for improving funding prospects.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida is one of many worldwide chapters. Since the formation of the first chapter in Cambridge in 1978, The MIT Enterprise Forum has grown to a network of 24 chapters located both in the United States and abroad. Although each chapter forms around a core group of MIT graduates, membership and program participation is open to all - MIT graduates and non-graduates.
