- “You know who that man was, Danny? Mitch Cummstien.” The Mitch Cummstien Invitational dates back to 1999 when a group of young men got together to play golf. This “golf outing” turned into an annual event and more and more foursomes were added. Today, the Mitch Cummstien has evolved into an invitational charity golf outing which involves 100+ young professionals from the Chicagoland area. In the past, proceeds from the invitational have gone to benefit the American Cancer Society, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, the Mental Health Association in Illinois and Kids Fight Cancer. This year, we are honored to assist the American Brain Tumor Association. With the help of some generous sponsors, who can now call themselves “Friends of Mitch,” we have been able to make this one of Chicagolands most popular events.
