Description
A licensed physical therapist and personal trainer, works with people of all ages and abilities. A former professional dancer, Michele attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She went on to perform professionally in New York and parleyed her knowledge of the body and movement into a new career. As a fitness-professional, Michele has worn many hats: health club director, group exercise instructor, and personal trainer in homes and executive fitness centers. While maintaining a busy roster of private clients, she attended Long Island University where she received her Masters Degree in physical therapy.
Michele's patients/clients are as diverse as her background: busy professionals, children, parents, grandparents, nationally ranked tennis players, marathoners, and models. Their specific concerns vary as well. She has worked with men and women on issues ranging from strength, mobility, sports-specific needs, injury rehab, injury prevention, overall health/well being, back pain, neurological diseases, arthritis, and more.
Experience has given me two very important standards to uphold. First and foremost, look at the whole picture. I tailor my patient's/client's plans to fit their particular lifestyles. I have gotten skilled at recognizing when a certain approach needs to be modified or changed and my clients appreciate that.
