Title

Miss Donna's School of Dance

Description

Excerpted from the website:

The history of Miss Donna's goes far beyond Miss Donna herself, as her grandmother was a dancer on Vaudeville and her mother was a dancing teacher in Boston, Massachusetts. Miss Donna opened her first studio with 100 students in September of 1956, while she was a student at Queens College, majoring in primary education and psychology. The 2008-2009 season marks her 53rd year serving Charlotte in dance education.
Her first studio was located on Central Avenue, after seven years she moved to Shamrock Drive. When that facility proved to be too small, Miss Donna moved to Rosehaven Drive then to East Independence Boulevard in the Amity Gardens Shopping Center. Independence Boulevard was in a five year plan of reconstruction which made it impossible to continue at that location, therefore she moved to the present location in the Sardis Crossing Shopping Center. The newest location as it is a state of the art facility with 10,000 square feet of dance studio.
