Recreation and Preparation
Minnowbrook offers boating, canoeing, fishing (bring your rod and tackle), badminton, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis (we supply balls and racquets), table shuffleboard, billiards, ping-pong, board games and cross-country skiing. Downhill skiing is available at Gore and McCauley mountains. Golf courses are located at Cedar River, Inlet, Thendera and Tupper Lake.
Other attractions are nearby. The Adirondack Museum is a short drive away. Arts and crafts shops exhibit work of contemporary Adirondack artists. Collectors find regional antiques in neighboring towns.
Packing Tips
Depending on the season of your visit, you may wish to bring your fishing rod, golf clubs, or skis, as these items are not provided by Minnowbrook. Don't forget your camera or binoculars!
