Whipple Enterprises began operation in 1949 manufacturing precision parts and assemblies for the medical, electronics, and aerospace industries. In the process of automating the parts handling from automatic machining equipment, a search was initiated in the conveyor marketplace for cost-effective, compact-profile conveyors that offered rapid installation, limited maintenance, and would withstand the rigors of the production machine shop environment. The search results netted little meeting their needs and Whipples' engineering staff developed a conveyor design incorporating these stringent requirements. At first these conveyors were used internally, automating various functions for increased productivity.
Soon after, the TC MINI-MOVER was introduced to the marketplace with immediate success. Through market input the Mini-Mover product offering expanded rapidly. Today Mini-Mover conveyors are utilized across industry sectors including packaging, assembly automation, metal stamping, product labeling and food processing.
Mini-Mover products are manufactured at our facilities in Northern California. A complete stock of components and finished conveyors is maintained to allow orders to be shipped quickly. All Mini-Mover conveyors are built to the highest quality standards.
