Savicom was founded in 1996, and developed the first web-based ASP email list management solution in 1998 -- PostMaster General (now known asSavicom Pro - see footnote). Developed initially for a web site design client, and marketed through word-of-mouth and a simple web site, the PostMaster General product grew rapidly and turned a boutique web site design firm into a rapidly growing internet technology company.
