Established as Milford Post Office on 4 August 1823, name changed to Milford Centre Post Office on 29 July 1829, name changed to Flint Post Office on 13 July 1865. Name changed back to Milford Centre Post Office on 31 January 1866 and changed to its present name spelling on 14 June 1893.
