Mike Wilson for 6th Vice President
Description
Mike is currently president of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Youth Association. Prior to that, Mike was vice-president of the Ontario PC Youth Association. Mike’s active involvement in politics began during the federal election of 2000, where he got involved helping his local candidate in Pickering Ajax Uxbridge.
As an active member of the Ontario PC Party Mike has developed a good working relationship with many youth and party activists as well as MPPs, and MPs. During the summer of 2004 Mike worked tirelessly (and successfully) on the Bev Oda federal campaign and John Tory's provincial leadership campaign.
Mike was born in Uxbridge, Ontario, and prior to moving to London to addend the University of Western Ontario, had lived there his entire life. Mike went to Uxbridge Secondary School, although he spent an equal about of time working his part-time job Zehrs Markets – which surprisingly enough he enjoyed. Mike’s got a great family – Barb (mom), Dean (dad), Jeff (brother), Whitney (sister-in-law) and awesome dog, Booth. In 2004 Mike also became an Uncle to newborn nephew Andy Wilson (See ever-so-cute picture below - the one on the right).
