- Fitness Factory Continues to Produce
- The season of competing is in full throttle now. With the Team Universe, Figure Nationals, Masters Nationals, and USA's right around the corner, the Fitness Factory has already hit the scene with success. To start the year off, the Fitness Factory brought home the overall figure title (Kara Flowers), overall fitness title (Sara Flom) and overall men's title (Miquel Neil) at The Arnold Amateur, along with Fitness Factory ladies capturing class titles in both fitness and figure. The pro women also proved to be just as successful with Adela Garcia, Jenny Hendershott, Julie Palmer, and Tracey Greenwood placing in the top 6 of The Ms. Fitness International, Lisa Auckland placing in the top 5 Ms. International and Latisha Wilder placing 4th in the Ms. Figure International. The season took off from there with Jenny Gates, Jessica Wright ,Teresa Anthony, Edith Missero, LeaAnn Yeager, Jan Horn and Melissa Pearo all placing in the top 5 at Junior USA's. New IFBB pro Elisha Archibold hit the scene with great success placing 4th in her first pro show in Pittsburgh and fourth at the Colorodo Pro. The amateurs continued to be successful as the Fitness Factory took 4 of the 6 classes in the figure category in Chicago at Junior Nationals , producing 3 new pros: overall winner, Jenny Gates, Brenda Smith and Melissa Pearo. Jessica Wright also won the F class. Tina Durkin took home the overall fitness trophy in Chicago with 2 other ladies placing in the top 5 spots in fitness and 5 other ladies placing in the top 5 of figure. Not only here in the US has the Fitness Factory had success but also in Canada with Sherry Boudreau and Jennifer Jewell taking 2 and 3rd at the Canadian Nationals in Fitness and Deanne Brown taking 2nd and 3rd in the Masters and Open Figure categories.
