Description
Ron and Rhonda Grimm have a farm in rural Iowa and have loved animals for as long as they can remember. Ron is an avid hunter and longtime Weimaraner owner. Rhonda has owned just about every kind of animal there is and was a Pet Store Owner for many years. They began their breeding business to incorporate their love of animals and desire to further the great hunting breeds of dogs, Vizslas and Weimaraners. In the process of stocking their farm, they also discovered a love of Paint Horses!
It is their desire not just to conform to the breed standard, but to go beyond. They only breed dogs and horses that they determine have desirable qualities for health, tempermant and for dogs, good hunting abilities. Studs are chosen for these same qualities.
Midwest Dream animals are bred and raised in the picturesque Iowa countryside, not in kennels or other 'facilities'. The dogs and horses are loved and cared for as family and get lots of clean open air to grow and thrive in. The dogs are accustomed to the 'family home' right from the start. From birth, they live in the house with the Grimm family and begin learning 'indoor manners'.
