The MCL Group of Companies was founded in 1979 with the launch of Midland Cryogenics Limited, specialising in cryogenic applications to service requirements within the UK. Our reputation of quality and service grew rapidly, with many prestigious domestic companies joining our customer listing.
In the early 1980's MCL were asked to advise on major problems being experienced on North Sea platforms. As a result, MCL designed a nitrogen transfer system and were awarded the contract - which was both a success and completed on time.
MCL has expanded its geographical scope of operations for process and pipeline services carrying out leak detection projects on oil tankers in the Mediterranean, pipe freezing projects in Australia and live gas tank refurbishment contracts in Africa.
