The Miami Yacht Club was founded in 1927 during Miami’s Boom years, as a club for sailing enthusiasts from all walks of life. After World War II , the Yacht Club made it’s home on Watson Island. In its more than 75 years as an active part of the local community, the club has served generations of families—fostering an appreciation for our beautiful waters and making this beauty accessible to everyone.
