Keeping this philosophy in mind, Metro Health has evolved over the years from a single hospital to a widespread health system. Metro Health Hospital remains this system's largest venture, but it's only one part of what is now becoming an integrated group of health care organizations known collectively as Metro Health. Today, this distinct group includes physician organizations, outpatient centers, managed care services, and more.
