Metropolitan DJ Service focuses on wedding receptions, corporate events, and private parties requiring professional, enjoyable, trouble free, quality and fun entertainment. My name is Steven Metz and it is a great honor for me to continue my career in the Huntsville, AL area.
Later that year I became the resident DJ at a local dance club. In addition, I continued to play for wedding receptions, private parties, and corporate events. In 1992, I decided to leave the club DJ arena and focus my DJ efforts on wedding receptions and corporate events. I joined forces with TransAudio Music Service in the Chicagoland area where I had the pleasure of playing for nearly 1000 clients over the span of 12 years. In addition to the Chicago area, I've also enjoyed the honor of playing for clients in Bermuda, Palm Springs, Miami, Cancun and Indianapolis. Recently, I met my wonderful wife (a resident of Huntsville) and moved to the Huntsville area to start a family. After spending some time in the Huntsville area and conducting much market research, Metropolitan Disc Jockey Service was born.
In 1988, I was approached to Disc Jockey a wedding reception for a friend. My extensive knowledge of music, upbeat personality, and access to audio equipment made me a perfect candidate. Much to my enjoyment the event was a great success and I began to receive inquiries with regard to future events from guests in attendance, many future brides and grooms.
