Description
Mediawiki automatically puts meta tags in the HTML of a page consisting of the text of the WikiLinks on the page. This brings up lots of questions. This task is about asking, and hopefully answering these questions, on an appropriately named WikiPage, something like MetaTags or MetaTages Q&A or something else.
How does this build community?
People have expressed a concern about our use of metatags, sometimes using the term CyberSquatting to describe it. We need to fully explore this issue so we can show these people that we have looked at this issue in depth, and invite them to help us look at it even further. This has the possibility to bring them into our community, or at least show them that we're not bad actors.
Done When
- The MetaTags (or whatever page) is built with:
- questions
- answers
- If we determine that AboutUs.org metatag behavior needs to change, create the task for them.
