Aegis Metal Framing, LLC is a stand-alone company headquartered in Chesterfield, MO. Aegis is a joint venture between Dietrich Metal Framing, a subsidiary of Columbus Ohio based Worthington Industries, and MiTek Industries Inc. a subsidiary of Warren Buffet's Berkshire-Hathaway Inc.
Aegis markets its products and services through light gauge metal component manufacturers. These manufacturing companies employ in-house design staffs that will utilize Aegis software products to estimate design and factory build roof, floor, and wall components. Aegis engineers will review and seal all structural component drawings as well as provide technical support and consultation.
