Description
Fall, 1999, I was an Account Manager for Wizeup Digital Editions, helping Wizeup move digital textbooks into production. After the Internet and technology market crash, Wizeup's funding disappeared and I was laid off, along with the entire sales staff.
At that point, my industry experience ranged from textbook publishing to telecommunications. I'd created marketing and informational materials for these companies including brochures, technical manuals, newsletters, data sheets, technology articles, sales letters and proposals.
I inherited my Dad's entrepreneurial spirit and love of business, along with an intuitive grasp of computer and telecommunications technology. With a degree in Advertising and my desire to help businesses create marketing and informational publications, I was ready to start my own company.
