- The Melrose Sharks Swim Team is a mission driven program based on the belief that all children can reach their full potential, as both an athlete and an individual, when given proper guidance and opportunity. The YMCA character values of caring, respect, responsibility and honesty are exhibited daily by our coaching staff and in return expected from our swimmers. Full attention is given to all swimmers who actively partake in the program, regardless of talent.
