Medway is made up of the towns of Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham and more rural areas, including the Hoo Peninsula. It is a modern place, with green spaces and superb quality of life, close to breathtaking countryside. Medway has a highly skilled workforce and a young and culturally diverse population. Medway grew up around the river from which it takes its name. Today, the river is still shaping the area and its business, leisure and growth.
