Living in the Bahamas

MERP-Banner-island.png Freeport is the second largest city in the Bahamas and is known for its commerce and growing development. Many areas of the island are under various stages of construction and the open land mass of the island provides ample opportunity for future growth. Many choose Grand Bahama as a residence because of close proximity to the United States, its natural source of drinking water and because English is the predominant language. Freeport is the only major city on Grand Bahama Island. However, it is surrounded by many native settlements. Grand Bahama Island boasts miles of pristine sandy shores that are never crowded.
