About Our Pianists and Composers
Ellina Akimova
Pianist and composer with russian roots, Ellina Akimova, worked at the Bolchoï from 1990 to 1995, she is now working in France at the Opéra National of Paris. La Danse Accompagnée (Music for Ballet Class), is a set of Music CD for Ballet Class composed and interpreted by Ellina Akimova. This set features now 4 CDs, those CDs are the ideal music accompaniement for your ballet class.
Richard Davis
Richard Davis began his training in Los Angeles under the tutelage of Edith Knox, and later extended his artistic development with Julian Musafia and Adele Marcus. He pursued his education in Paris, France, where he obtained the french state diploma in piano accompaniment in addition to a diploma as professor of music for dancers, and therein continues a career as pianist, composer, improviser and accompanist for voice, instruments and dance. Pianist at the Paris Opera Ballet School since 1994, he is also accompanist at the Paris Conservatory where he has served as associate professor in accompanying.
Ayumi Hirusaki
Main pianist at the National Opera of Tokyo, Ayumi Hirusaki is the pianist accompanist for the ballet classes and the rehearsal. She worked at the Opera of Vienna, in Autria in 2006. Ayumi Hirusaki travels the world and had the opportunity to work with Attilio Labis, Michaël Denard, Patrick Dupond, Dominique Khalfouni, Jennifer Goubé, Bertrand Barena…
