Description

The Monterey County Young Professionals Group (MCYPG) is an organization formed to offer networking opportunities to business professionals in their 20s and 30s residing in Monterey County and beyond.

The idea for the group was developed in 2003 by Lisa (Piotrkowski) Thomas, Elizabeth Diaz and co-workers at Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. after hearing many of their peers report their desire to develop contacts among other young people in the area who were serious about their careers. The idea was reinforced while conducting research for a client project in which top area influencers were interviewed. Many of these Monterey County leaders reported the need for "the next generation to step up." MCYPG seeks to help fill this gap by providing young professionals with the occasion to meet and mingle with their peers, foster relationships and business development in a sophisticated, relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

MCYPG recognizes that we're all very busy and involved in our individual volunteer work. Because of this, we will not be asking for your time to fundraise or contribute to charitable activities. The purpose of the group is solely to network and have fun.
