In 1981, at the age of nineteen, Bob McGrath converted his parent's basement into an office and darkroom and established McGrath Photography. Turning his childhood hobby into a successful business was a goal that most people could only dream of. Throughout his professional photography education, Bob continued to grow his business. In August of 1984, McGrath Studios opened in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Today, McGrath Studios Inc. is one of the nations leading portrait studios, specializing in College and High School yearbook photography. With four studio locations, along with many national mobile campus photographers, McGrath Studios has played a successful role in many award winning yearbook programs.
