- Co-founder and President of McGinn & Teixeira P.A., moved to Florida from Kansas City in May of 1988. At that time, she enrolled in the Counselor Education graduate program at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Her goal was to go into private practice. After graduating in 1991, she worked in various settings and with clients who presented a variety of concerns. When she thought that she had gained enough valuable experience by working with clients in these settings and working with other counselors, she started her private practice in Spring Hill, Florida in 1998. In 2004, she joined with Jim Teixeira and moved her practice to Tampa.
