Description

Local boating enthusiasts founded Meydenbauer Bay Yacht Club (MBYC) in Bellevue, Washington in 1946. MBYC m embership affords you many boating privileges and social opportunities while gaining an appreciation for the marine environment of the Pacific Northwest. Although a primary focus is on the boating interests of its members, you need not own a boat to join.

MBYC is a participatory yacht club, meaning that all members are active in the functioning of the club; including business, work, social and recreational affairs. Members enjoy club moorage, both permanent and seasonal, as well as numerous social functions throughout the year. Boating activities include organized cruises, power and sail regattas, Seafair participation, outstations for members’ use, and reciprocal facilities with other yacht clubs. Regular membership in MBYC entitles the member, his/her spouse together with the member's children under the age of twenty-one, to enjoy the privileges of the club.

We own all of our beautiful homeport marina and clubhouse facilities debt free. The marina consists of about 450 linear feet of Lake Washington waterfront with 106 open and covered moorage slips. Our historic clubhouse structure contains some 15,000 square feet of space on three levels housing kitchen and dining facilities, a bar, meeting rooms, lounge areas, club offices and storage areas.
