By combining all the best characteristics of paper, film, and fabric Tyvek® is one exceptional material. Most products offer water resistance or breathability, but Tyvek® offers both. It is strong and protective in wet or dry conditions, and Tyvek® is lightweight, flexible, smooth, particulate free, and opaque. It is resistant to water, rot & mildew, chemicals, abrasion, and aging. Made from 100% high-density polyethylene fibers, it has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is pH 7 (neutral).
