1991 – The company launches the first ever online point of sale debit network in the world.
1997 – Launches its ad campaign called “Priceless”
2001 – Launches MasterCard Advisors, the world’s biggest consultancy whose main focus is growth of customers.
2002 – Merges with Europay Intl.
2002 – It changes into a private company from a membership association.
2006 – The company transforms into new corporate governance. It also debuts on NYSE the same year and trades under the name MA. The company also gets a new name MasterCard Worldwide.
