LEGO BIONICLE Fan Site
Description
I have been a LEGO® enthusiast ever since those amazing bricks first washed upon these (USA) humble shores. Other than a few books, my collection of LEGO sets is just about the only thing that made the transition from my youth to my adulthood. I was first attracted to BIONICLE® at the dawn of this new millenium by the official website, the Mata Nui Online Game, and especially by the atmospheric music. An avid BIONICLE collector, there are only a very few BIONICLE items that I do not have. My CD, poster, and prototype collections are quite possibly unmatched outside of LEGO.
Other than an enthusiasm for all things LEGO, I have no special advantages. I don't live near a LEGO Store, nor do I personally know anyone who works for the LEGO Company. (I would welcome both though.) I do have a Masters degree (in Science!), I have appeared in Scientific American, I'm the "Father" of the USENET newsgroup rec.games.corewar, and I was once Editor of The Core War Newsletter.
I was born in Florida, raised for the most part in Maryland. I've been interested in robotic subjects for most of what I can remember. I've always been partially interested in LEGO products, although for a time I refused to buy them, but since BIONICLE started and I received KOPAKA as my first BIONICLE set as a gift from my brother, I have been collecting and building them ever since. Now I almost literally cannot move in my room without moving a few canisters over….
