Description
This is a short tributary of Lick Creek, in Salt River T, near Perry. It is named for George W Martin, landowner. It was formerly called Mace Branch, for Nancy and John Mace, mother and son, who previously owned land along the bank, the former filing claim in 1828, the latter in 1825.
