- For us, this started as a hobby and grew into much more than we ever would have imagined. It really has almost become a "hobby gone berserk." I have been a collector for most of my adult life, but in January 2004 I decided that I would try my hand at selling on eBay. My intentions were to sell some items that did not fit into my collection and replace them with pieces that were a better fit.
