Medical Freedom was established in 1997 by Marilyn and Jimmy Fox in a 24 by 30 foot building at their home. Marilyn worked as a home care nurse while Jimmy ran the business. Jimmy, being disabled since a child, together with Marilyn started with a solid idea and a business plan. Their goal was to give people with mobility problems a choice in their equipment and to treat people the way we all like to be treated. Their beginning inventory consisted of three scooters and a single lift chair.
