What is Manifold Records?
Manifold Records is an online mailorder catalog for experimental, ambient, noise and otherwise unclassifiable music. Manifold is also a record label by the same name. We have released records by Final, Lull, KK Null, Mandible Chatter, Gravitar, Rapoon and Aube to name only a few. We specialize in unusual packaging ideas for our releases, several of our creations have been featured art shows and newspapers.
Our most active side is the mailorder store/website where we carry the releases of other unusual labels from all over the world. We send out email updates frequently, letting those who are interested know what we have new for sale at the store. The Emailing list is confidential. We accept credit cards as well as Paypal and mailed in checks/money orders. All shipping in the United States is free but we will also ship all over the world. Do you have a self-released disc or small label you would like us to distribute? Query us at manifold@manifoldrecords.com. No cdrs please, only cds or vinyl.
Manifold Records has been active in some form or another since 1992. Beginning with the zine Intake Manifold, which covered much the same sort of music we carry today. The label came next and the mailorder operation opened 1995.
