Manchester High School for Girls is one of the country’s leading girls’ schools. We believe happy pupils learn and achieve their full potential. Every girl, from the age of four in the Preparatory Department through to the Sixth Form and beyond, enjoys being with staff who are skilled teachers and who care about every individual.
The School’s broad and challenging curriculum leads to outstanding examination results: in 2005, 90.4% of all grades at Advanced Level were A or B, confirming the school's position as one of the country’s leading schools. At GCSE 86.7% of all passes were at A* or A.
