Dmitry Malikov was born in Moscow on January 29, 1970. His father, Yuriy Malikov, is the honored artist of Russia, the founder and artistic leader of the band (vocal instrumental music group) “Samotsvety”. His mother, Lyudmila Vyunkova, used to be a ballet dancer. In 1970 two important events happened in the life of Yuriy Malikov, first was the birth of his son Dmitry and the second was the creation of the band “Samotsvety”.
