MAJR Products Corporation, once a sub-division of Spectrum Control in Fairview, Pennsylvania, has now been incorporated under MAJR, an acronym, since 1991. The current president, Donald L. Hester, came on board as the national sales manager in 1993 and with growth in the company he was able to purchase the company from the prior owner.
While, in the wake of the tragedy of 9/11/2001, many companies experienced losses or worse. MAJR did not. In each year, including 2001 up through 2005 MAJR Products Corporation has experienced double-digit percentage growth. In our fiscal year of 2004 that growth represented an increase of 38% over fiscal 2003! Such growth has allowed MAJR to bring on additional help in engineering, sales & marketing as well as in production for the company.
MAJR's home for many years was located in the heart of Saegertown, Pennsylvania. In August of 2005, MAJR Products Corporation moved from its' long-time home to the rolling fields just outside of town. Now located less than a mile from Interstate 79, which runs north/south in Pennsylvania, we enjoy more convenient shipping access. Space now is at 13,000 square feet and we are still busting at the seams. Who knows, we may have to add on to the new facility soon!
