Description
Magnet magazine has existed since 1987. It was originally the main resource of the Women's Network of the Methodist Church, but it has grown to provide resources and interest for Christian people of different traditions.
Magnet magazine is produced by volunteers from around Britain who meet four times a year to plan the editorial content, policies and development of the magazine. Two groups work collaboratively on the editorial and management responsibilities and are supported by staff of the Women's Network office.
Magnet volunteers are accountable to the national committee of the Women's Network of the Methodist Church. In Methodist Connexional structures, Women's Network is part of the office for Pastoral Care and Christian Education within the area of Church Life.
